The time has come for the return of fall's most controversial flavor: pumpkin spice. Whether you love or loathe it, most people agree it at least makes sense in lattes and muffins.
But sausages? Cough drops? PIZZA? Yes. Giant Food is selling pumpkin-spice-flavored chicken sausage, and the chain Villa Italian Kitchen claims to have invented a pizza spread with pumpkin pie filling, then topped with cheese and "dollops" of pumpkin pie spice.
But that's not the end of what Vice called "peak pumpkin spice." We found the following pumpkin-spice-spiked food -- and we are shaking our heads.
