Booze, Reclining Leather Seats at VIP Theatre

O’Neill Properties Group signed a lease for a high-end movie complex at its Uptown Worthington development off Route 202 in Malvern, Pa.

The two-story complex will total 85,000 square feet and have a Cobb VIP theatre on the first floor and a Cinébistro on the second floor. Both theaters will have a bar and wine cellar and fully reclining leather seats.

The Cinebistro is a “four-star dining experience” that also has movies playing, the developer said in a statement. The Cobb theatre will be modeled after the “turn-of-the-century classical live theaters like the Academy of Music” with a 60-foot tall lobby and a dining balcony overlooking the lobby, O’Neill said in a statement. It will also have an outdoor balcony that overlooks a space called the Piazza at Worthington. Read more about this story on PBJ.com.
