    • A 1,300-square-foot "Top Chef"-themed fast-casual restaurant is in the works for the Comcast Center Concourse.

    A “Top Chef”-themed eatery will open at the Concourse at Comcast Center ahead of the popular television show’s season 17 premiere next year.

    Top Chef Quickfire, a fast-casual concept from Bravo and Philadelphia-based hospitality company Spectra, will feature dishes based on creations from the show. It’s set to open in January.

    Diners can have dishes made to order or pick up hot or cold food from the grab-and-go section of the eatery. Monitors in the space will show clips from past seasons of "Top Chef," including clips from episodes where the dishes being served at Quickfire were created.

    “Cheftestant” Eddie Konrad, a former contestant on the show and chef de cuisine at South Philadelphia’s Laurel, consulted on the menu.
