Museum to Immerse Visitors Into the War With New Exhibit

Although the Museum of the American Revolution is a long way from its projected opening in 2016, details and renderings for its upcoming exhibition have already been revealed.

The renderings show that the exhibit will try to take visitors into the Revolution era by featuring a life-sized Liberty Tree; the deck of a privateer ship; an experience of being in front of the line of battle; and original weapons, letters and other objects from the American Revolution.

And, in order to create an experience as authentic as possible for visitors, the museum sought the help of R. Scott Stephenson, director of collections and interpretation, as well as a handful of other experts knowledgeable in other fields. Read more about this story on PBJ.com.
