Made in America Brings Beyonce, NIN to Philly

Beyonce and Trent Reznor sharing the same stage? The pop/R&B music icon and the Nine Inch Nails industrial rock god co-headline this year’s Made in America Festival in Philly.

The Budweiser Made in America Festival made it official Wednesday announcing that Beyonce, NIN Phoenix, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris and others would headline this year’s festival on the Ben Franklin Parkway.

Festival curator Jay-Z made the announcement of the eclectic lineup this afternoon through Spotify. Other acts set to perform include Wiz Khalifa, Fitz & the Tantrums, Public Enemy, 2 Chainz, Gaslight Anthem, Imagine Dragons, Kendrick Lamar, Haim, Empire of the Sun, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Miguel.

The second annual edition of the festival will take over the Parkway Labor Day Weekend (Aug. 31 and Sept. 1).

"This festival is all about experiencing great music and performances as a family," said Jay-Z in a press release. "I can't wait to get back to Benjamin Franklin Parkway, see some stage diving, walk through the crowds, drink a little and rock out again."

Tickets go on sale next week through the festival’s Facebook page, according to Billboard magazine.

Last year's festival healined by Jay-Z and Pearl Jam drew about 86,000 concert goers to the Parkway.
