Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne Join Celebrity Mom Talk Show

Here’s a hot topic for the ladies of “The View” – their new competition.

CBS has reportedly lined up five celebrity moms to appear on a new daytime talk show modeled on ABC’s Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg-fronted chatfest.

The program will focus on covering entertainment and news stories from a mom’s perspective and will include as hosts “America’s Got Talent” judge Sharon Osbourne and “Early Show” and “Big Brother” host Julie Chen, Deadline Hollywood first reported.

Chen is married to CBS chief Les Moonves and gave birth to the couple's first son, Charlie, in September. Mooves was not involved in picking up her new show, a network spokesman told The Los Angeles Times.

The unnamed program, which replaces canceled daytime soap opera “As the World Turns,” is the brainchild of former teen “Roseanne” star Sara Gilbert, The New York Times reported.

Besides executive-producing the one-hour talk show, Gilbert will also serve as co-host, according to the Times.

Rounding out the panel is: “21 Jump Street” actress turned “Celebrity Apprentice” runner-up Holly Robinson Peete, “King of Queens” star Leah Remini, and Broadway actress Marissa Jaret Winokur.
