Seth MacFarlane Predicts His Own Bad Reviews on “The Tonight Show”

The "Family Guy" creator dished on his new comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West"

Seth MacFarlane and Thandi Newton both appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Friday to talk about their upcoming endeavors on the big and small screen.

The "Family Guy" creator dished on his new comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West."

Already predicting that the film is a “career-ender,” MacFarlane, who wrote, directed, and stars in the movie, decided to beat the critics and write his own possible bad review headlines.

“So for the LA Times: 'A Million Ways to Die at the Box Office,'" he said, warning that no one is now allowed to use his headlines.

"Entertainment Weekly: McFarlane Western Fizzles as  'Good Wife' Sizzles," he went on.

“A Million Ways Also Makes Up for Oscar Tragedy,” read MacFarlane, who hosted the 2013 Oscars.  “That’s just in case my dad writes something,” he quipped.

“Rogue” star, Thandie Newton, who has three children, updated Fallon on her family life. The actress, who has three children -- the youngest is eleven weeks old--  revealed that she was pregnant while shooting the second season of her police drama.

“It’s like you’ve got two major jobs going on at the same time,” said Newtown, who was eight months pregnant toward the end of taping. “To be performing a scene where I’m being incredibly serious and down here I’m just feeling like kicks from all angles, it was ridiculous,” she said pointing to her stomach.

Camera angles helped hide her growing belly, but her emotions were on full display during filming, she said.

“I would be so happy when we’d do a scene where I’d have to be ferocious and angry, because I’d go crazy,” she said.
