Sean Spicer on Melissa McCarthy's ‘SNL' Impersonation

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer offered his two cents on Melissa McCarthy's stinging impersonation of him during a "Saturday Night Live" sketch this weekend.

"I think Melissa McCarthy needs to slow down on the gum chewing," Spicer joked when interviewed by "Extra" Sunday. "Way too many pieces in there."

McCarthy downed a few dozen pieces of chewing gum in the sketch, a reference to a well-known habit of Spicer's.

While not openly critical of McCarthy's portrayal of him, Spicer did have harsher comments for Alec Baldwin's ongoing depiction of President Donald Trump.

"He's gone from funny to mean and that's unfortunate," Spicer said. "'Saturday Night Live' used to be really funny and I think there's a streak of meanness now that they've kind of crossed over into."

These are the stocks posting the largest moves after the bell.

Expect the "meanness" to continue as Baldwin hosts "Saturday Night Live" Feb 11.
