 "Sharknado" In Theaters Friday

Sharknado's social media splash was enough to get the cable TV movie on the silver screen. The SyFy thriller will be in theaters on Friday for a midnight showing. The shark-mania doesn't end there, though. SyFy is set to release "Ghost Shark" on August 22.

Simon Cowell's Daddy Drama

The "X-Factor" judge's latest task: learning to change diapers. The never-married Cowell is expecting his first chid with close friend Lauren Silverman, who recently called it quits with real-estate mogul husband Andrew Silverman. Cowell's camp referred to the baby news as a "sensitive issue" and is expected to hold a press conference early next week. The country crooner has been moved to a physical therapy facility after being hospitalized in Texas following a stroke last month. His fiancee Mary Davis took to Travis' website to thank fans for their support.

Ellen and Oscar Together Again

Ellen DeGeneres will host the Academy Awards in 2014.
