Lindsay Lohan to Guest-Star on “Eastbound & Down”

Mere weeks after completing 90 days of court-ordered rehabilitation treatment, Lindsay Lohan is back at work shooting scenes for the HBO comedy "Eastbound & Down."

The actress posted a self-taken picture on Instagram Tuesday with the caption: "#back@work! So grateful today! :)" - see the pic below.

Lohan never specified exactly what work she was doing, but HBO confirmed to E! News on Wednesday that she will be guest-starring on the sitcom's fourth and final season and was shooting scenes in Wilmington, N.C.

According to E!, Lohan plays the daughter of one of the show's main characters and was filming a wedding scene set many years in the future with her as the bride.

"Eastbound & Down" stars Danny McBride as a former professional baseball player who returns to his hometown to teach physical education. The show is co-produced by Will Ferrell.

It's a big week for the actress. A sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey for "Oprah's Next Chapter" airs Sunday night. Oprah's OWN network will also produce an eight-part docu-series that will follow Lohan as works to rebuild her career and image.

The eight-episode final season of "Eastbound & Down" premieres on HBO on Sept. 29.
