Mick Jagger Denies Hitting on Katy Perry

Mick Jagger has undoubtedly charmed countless women over the course of his rock star career, but the Rolling Stone frontman insists he's never made a pass at pop star Katy Perry.

While speaking with Australian DJs Ash, Kip & Luttsy on Nova FM during a recent interview, the 29-year-old performer revealed that she previously worked with the now-70-year-old singer before her career took off and even sang the back-up vocals on his hit "Old Habits Die Hard."

But that's not all the "Roar" singer confessed--she also claimed that British rocker came on to her while the pair was out to dinner when Perry was just 18.

"I actually went to dinner with [Jagger] one time, and he hit on me when I was like 18!" she admitted. "Yeah but that was a long time ago, and since then he's been very kind and I got to sing "Beasts of Burden" on their stage with him on their tour on the Rolling Stone tour."

How do you turn down a legend like Mick Jagger?

"Well you bring a friend and then they do them," John Mayer's girlfriend said with a laugh.

The dark-haired beauty also revealed that she worked behind-the-scenes for a lot of big names in the music biz--including Miley Cyrus--before she made it big, but insisted she's thankful for all her past experiences as they've lead her to her chart-topping success.

Perry's latest album Prism has officially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard top 200 chart, and the "Dark Horse" singer has even set a record for the largest sales week of 2013 for a female artist in the United States.

And in addition to having a nearly 50 percent increase from the first week sales of her 2010 record, Teenage Dream, which debuted at No. 1 in eight countries and spent more than two years on the Billboard 200, the singer surpassed pal Miley Cyrus' Bangerz (which sold an impressive 270,000 units in its first week) for this year's biggest sales week among women.
