    One of the biggest nights in Latin music is back.

    This year's awards will have celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Luis Fonsi and Nicky Jam take the stage to honor the success of this year's Latin music newcomers and new collaborations. 

    Jam and Colombian singer Shakira lead the list of finalists with nine nominations, and singer J Balvin received seven nominations.

    "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" swept the Emmys and HBO's "Game of Thrones" came back with a "Best Drama" win during TV's biggest night. But it was director Glenn Weiss who provided the most touching highlight of the night after he pulled off a successful proposal to his girlfriend, Jen Svendsen, as the cameras rolled on-stage.

    The Billboard Music Awards will also have its first television debut of Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's record-breaking hit "Despacito."

    Best Dressed at the 2016 Billboard Latin Music Awards

    Carlos Ponce and Kate del Catillo will be the hosts of the big night, and along with them, actors like Eva Longoria and Demin Bichir will be presenting awards to their favorite stars.

    While the "Olvdame y Pega La Vuelta" singer will debut a new song from her highly anticipated Spanish album, she'll also be receiving the coveted Premio de la Estrella. This will be J.Lo's second time taking the legendary stage.
