The people behind the upcoming movie remake of the Stephen King story and horror movie classic "Carrie" fooled unsuspecting customers at a New York coffee shop into believing they were witnessing a supernatural event.
The team set up wires, a false wall and remote controlled chairs at 'Snice coffee shop. Then, as the video says, it’s “time to f*** with some customers."
When people came into the store innocently placing orders with the barista, an actress in on the elaborate prank pretended to force a man on the wall and displace books with her telekinetic abilities, a la Carrie.
The wires are pretty visible, but customers appear seriously rattled in the video, which has since gone viral.
The newest "Carrie" movie, directed by Kimberly Peirce and stars Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore, opens Oct. 18.
