‘Dancing' Pro Mark Ballas Injures Groin

Mark Ballas will be taking a break from the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ tour after suffering a groin injury, according to People.

The ‘Dancing’ pro, who won the competition in Season 6 with Kristi Yamaguchi, reportedly told the audience at Staples Center in LA on Saturday that he’d be out “a couple of weeks” while he recovers.

Still, the star managed a few moves on Saturday, reportedly dancing with Yamaguchi as well as doing a hip-hop routine with Derek Hough and Lacey Schwimmer.

When they’re not dancing, Derek and Mark have been working on their debut album as the Ballas Hough Band — according to MarketWatch, the album, which features collaborations with producers including John Fields (Jonas Brothers) and Eric Valentine (Maroon 5), will be released in March 2009 on Hollywood Records.
