“Teen Mom 2” Health Scares: Leah Messer Has Miscarriage, Jenelle Evans is Hospitalized

"Hospitals suck," Evans tweeted.

“Teen Mom 2” stars Leah Messer and Jenelle Evans suffered separate, but serious health scares this week.

On the heels of Messer’s pregnancy announcement two weeks ago, the young mother suffered a miscarriage, OK! reported on Wednesday.

"It's a devastating experience, but all I can do is support Leah and take things day by day," her new fiancé, Jeremy Calvert, told OK! "It's hard, but we will get through it."

Also Wednesday, E! Online reported that Jenelle Evans was hospitalized for a kidney infection.

"Hospitals suck," Evans tweeted late Tuesday.

Evans, known for her tumultuous relationships with her mom and on-again, off-again boyfriend, has been in and out of the hospital this past year.

Earlier this month, she battled strep throat. Evans injured her wrist in a car crash back in October. She was diagnosed with an Ovarian Cyst last July.

Evans was released from the hospital Wednesday and received antibiotics to treat the kidney infection, her rep confirmed to E! Online.

Both Evans and Messer appeared on the MTV show “16 and Pregnant” and went on to star in “Teen Mom 2.”

Last season Evans signed temporary custody of her 2-year-old son Jace to her mother, Barbara. Messer tied the knot to Corey Simms, father to her twin daughters, Aliannah and Alleeah. Messer filed for divorce six months later.

“Teen Mom 2” airs Tuesdays on MTV at 10 p.m.
