Rihanna has been relatively quiet about what happened that night in February when her boyfriend Chris Brown allegedly beat her up. The Barbados-born singer hasn’t given an interview on the subject, and she even stayed away from the April court proceedings in which Brown pleaded not guilty to two felonies.
But now the songbird is singing about her former love interest. Literally.
“Silly Boy” is a classic dis track, but don’t take our word for it, check out some of the lyrics.
“I said I’m not coming back. You fooled me once but you can’t have that ego turning./ Just too bad for you, that when you had me. Didn’t know what to do, she’s over you./'Cause you had a good girl, good girl, girl. That’s a keeper. You had a good girl, good girl but didn’t know how to treat her./ So silly boy get out my face. Why do you like the way regrets taste?”
The New York Post reports that the song is a collaboration with uber-hip singer Lady Ga-Ga but a post on Kanye’s blog says that GaGa wasn’t part of the single.
