Report: Prince Harry & Chelsy Davy Split

Prince Harry and longtime girlfriend Chelsy Davy have ended their relationship, People reported. The British prince, 24, and Chelsy, 23, a law school student at Leeds University, split after five years together.

“They are remaining friends,” a source told the mag. “There have been all sorts of reasons given [for the split] but suffice it to say they felt that it had run its course.”

According to the U.K.’s Sunday Telegraph, Chelsy confirmed the split on her Facebook page, ending the relationship after “tiring” of the prince’s “playboy antics.”

Though they dated for a half-decade, three of those years were spent apart long distance. The Zimbabwe-born Chelsy studied at a university in Capetown, South Africa, while Harry attended Britain’s Sandhurst Military Academy.

The prince is currently undergoing a two-and-a-half year course in helicopter pilot training with the Army Air Corps. He drew criticism recently for being videotaped using derogatory racial terms, for which a spokesman later apologized in his stead.
