"Hugh…I'm countin' the hours," Oprah wrote back. "Wanna do dinner the night before. Same booth? Or catch up fresh on the air?"

"Dinner Thursday night, our same booth would be perfect," Hugh responded, not saying what booth – or what restaurant – the two would be eating at. "I am going to work on getting to Chicago sooner. Cannot wait…"

Hugh also took to his Twitter on Friday to reveal the winners of his Twitter charity contest – on April 14, he asked fans to send him their favorite non-profit organizations, promising he would donate $100,000 to one organization if they could convince him in 140 characters or less. He chose two, Charity: Water and Operation of Hope, and will be donating $50,000 to each.

Charity: Water sent a number of Tweets to the actor to compete for his donation, including this Tweet: "@realhughjackman Half of all schools in the WORLD lack water - these kids in Ethiopia are cheering for you: http://twitpic.com/3cm3j," linking to a photo of Ethiopian children holding signs addressed to Hugh. One said, "Dear Hugh, without clean water this is NO LIFE."

Hugh's latest film, "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," opens on Friday, May 1.
