Sigourney Weaver: World's Baddest Action Star

Sigourney Weaver might be the only person on the planet who could withstand a Chuck Norris round house. She could also kick the crap out of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sly Stallone, as long as she has that mechanized exo-skeleton from “Aliens.”

Weaver, who played Ellen Ripley in the classic sci-fi thriller, was voted the “Ultimate Action Hero” in a new poll out from Sky Movies. Weaver’s Ripley character was the only woman to make the top 10.

Weaver took the top spot, followed by Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Chuck Norris and Matt Damon.

"I've always been terrified of women - now I know I was right to be,” said Sky Movies’ Mark Dolan, who put together the poll to promote Sky Movies’ “Action April.” “Sigourney is a great actor and an unrivaled action hero - a worthy winner."

Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis and Steven Segal are also considered among the top-10 bad asses. The poll rated the action stars in five categories including weaponry, kill count, one liners, creative ass-kicking and sex-appeal.

Weaver has been making her share of lists lately. She also made Entertainment Weekly’s list of Top-20 All Time Heroes in March.
