Ryan Gosling Breaks Up NYC Fight

Turns out Ryan Gosling plays a good Samaritan in real life.

The Academy Award-nominated star was apparently caught on camera breaking up a fight in an intersection in New York’s East Village.

A YouTube video documenting the deed shows a man who looks like the “Crazy, Stupid, Love" actor successfully separating two men who were getting physical near St. Mark’s Place (Watch for Gosling's entrance about 30-seconds into the video. He's wearing a blue cap and striped tank top). The incident went down on 8th Street, according to the New York Daily News

At some point in the vid, onlookers realize they’re watching “that guy from the movie … ‘The Notebook’” and begin to shriek.

“Are you serious?” one woman says. “You’re lying … Oh My God it is!”

E! News reports Gosling’s rep has yet to comment on the viral vid, which was uploaded two days ago.
