Dane Cook to Receive $12M from Half Brother

Dane Cook's half brother has been ordered to pay the comedian $12 million in restitution after embezzling money from him, reports People.

Darryl McCauley served as Cook's business manager from the late 1990s until 2008. He started diverting funds from Cook to his personal accounts in 2004. In October, McCauley, 45, pled guilty to 27 counts of larceny over $250, three counts of forgery and embezzlement, among other charges. He was sentenced to 5-6 years in prison and his wife - who was involved in the plot - received 2 1/2 - 3 years of prison time.

Per a statement from the Massachusetts attorney general's office, the court will tally the couple's assets in an effort to start the payment process. The McCauley's purchased a home in York Beach, Maine, and also invested in both a hotel and restaurant there.
