Bill Clinton: I Love My Future Son-in-Law

Meeting the parents is intimidating enough -- but imagine if the dad of your bride-to-be was the leader of the free world.

It's not a problem for Chelsea Clinton's fiancee, Marc Mezvinsky, whose soon-to-be father-in-law, Bill Clinton, says he's elated to walk his daughter down the aisle into Mezvinsky's arms.

"He's a great human being," the former commander in chief told Us Magazine Tuesday about Mezvinsky, 31, who announced his engagement to Chelsea Clinton, 29, last week.

Mezvinsky, an investment banker, has gotten close to Bill and Hillary and is a part of the Clinton family already, a source close to the former first family told Us.

"Very often, when Hillary is traveling, Chelsea and Marc and Bill go out to dinner, or they go to Chappaqua and go to the movies," the source said.

Clinton is "very" excited about his daughter's relationship with Mezvinsky, who he "adores," the source said.

The couple announced their engagement on Nov. 27 via a mass e-mail sent to their close friends.

"We are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us," the e-mail read.

Mezvinsky is the son of former Democratic Reps. Ed Mezvinsky and Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky. Clinton and Mezvinsky met while attending Stanford University.
