Lady Gaga's “Born This Way” Smashes iTunes Records

Sells 1 million downloads in five days

"Born This Way," the latest hit from Lady Gaga, sold more than a million downloads in just five days, becoming the fastest-selling song in iTunes history.

Apple said the Madonna-influenced dance track, which Gaga performed after climbing out of a giant egg at the Grammys, is now No. 1 in 23 countries. It already went to the top of Billboard's Hot 100 singles earlier this week.

Gaga gave away some of her secrets for creativity in a radio interview on Sirius XM Friday, saying she likes to party, but pays the price in the gym.

"I am on the drunk diet," she said. "I live my life as I want to, creatively. I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I am working. But the deal is I've got to work out every day, and I work out hung over if I am hung over. And it's about the cross-training and keeping yourself inspired. I have to say, I do a ton of yoga," she added.

She also said she sees herself making the move to acting, though she has another actress in mind if a film about her is ever made.

"I am such a Marisa Tomei fan. All my friends call me Marisa when I get angry. Because my New York accent just flies out of my body and I start smacking my gum," she said.
