Julianne Moore to Star as Sarah Palin on HBO

Julianne Moore as Mama Grizzly? You Betcha!

HBO has cast “The Kids Are All Right” star to play Sarah Palin in “Game Change,” a film adaption based of the 2010 bestselling political tome, People reported.

“Game Change,” which charts the 2008 presidential campaign, was penned by New York magazine writer John Heilemann and Time magazine’s Mark Halperin.

Its small screen version was written by Danny Strong, who also did the script for HBO's 2000 election film, "Recount," The Washington Post reported. "Recount" director Jay Roach has also signed on for the new project, according to the paper.

HBO has yet to decide on who will play Barack Obama or John McCain, People reported.

It’s not the first time the former Alaska governor has been portrayed on TV.

During Palin’s vice presidential campaign, comedian Tina Fey famously lampooned her on “SNL.” Palin later dropped by the NBC sketch comedy show, coming face to face with her doppelgänger.
