Former “Jersey Shore” Star Blames Media for Miscarriage

Angelina Pivarnick had a rough time in the "Jersey Shore" house. Sadly, things only got worse once she left.

Pivarnick, who left the MTV reality show after 2 seasons, revealed on the "Father Albert" talk show that she suffered a miscarriage, blaming the intense media glare for causing the stress that lead to it.

"I wanted [my pregnancy] to be my personal business, and it really wasn't," said a tearful Pivarnick. "It was really hard, and I went through a lot of stress, and I ended up losing the baby."

This news came after she called off her wedding to fiance David Kovacs two months ago. Although she never actually identifies Kovacs as the father - there were rumors that Pivarnick's infidelity lead to the break-up - she does claim that the father's lack of support is "tormenting" her and may have also played a role in the miscarriage,

"He wasn't even there for me. He was tormenting me, and it was definitely a big reason why I think what happened to me," she said. "It was definitely a reality check."

Pivarnick and Kovacs got a lot of gossip blog attention when Kovacs publicly proposed to Pivarnick on the red carpet of a fashion show. Later, there were accusations that the whole thing was a stunt and that Kovacs merely wanted to become a part of the "Jersey Shore" cast.
