Jennifer Aniston’s latest film beat out ex-husband Brad Pitt’s at the box office on Christmas Day.
Jen’s new romantic comedy, “Marley & Me,” based on the bestselling novel about a loveable but incorrigible Labrador Retriever, opened at No. 1 with $14.6 million in ticket sales, according to preliminary box office numbers.

Meanwhile Brad’s film “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button” followed in second with $11.8 million.
Although Jen’s movie won the 100-yard dash of opening day, “Benjamin Button” will likely have more longevity on the long road towards Oscar night.
