In October, police filed a report against the Scottish actor over an alleged scuffle with a photographer.

According to a source close to the incident, the photographer followed Butler after he left a premiere in a car with a driver. The source claims the paparazzo chased the actor, driving and shooting and running at least one red light that endangered two bystanders on the street. After nearly hitting two the pedestrians, Butler had his driver pull over, the source said.
