“All I can say to Zac is that as long as he does good work, doesn’t lose his mind and stays grounded as a human being, he’ll be fine,” Cassidy told Britain’s Daily Mail as he was prepping for his U.K. concert tour last week.
“Because it’s only about the talent and never about how many fans or photographers you’ve got outside your home,” he continued.
Cassidy cautioned Zac that regardless of the career choices he makes, sometimes there’s no controlling fame and that the “High School Musical” star better prepare himself.
“But he’d better fasten his seatbelt,” Cassidy added, “Because it’s going to be a very bumpy ride.”
