Christina Aguilera has already conquered the music charts and the red carpet – now, she's taking on the big screen.
The songstress will make her movie debut in "Burlesque," a contemporary musical, according to Variety.
In the film, Christina will play an ambitious smalltown girl with a big voice who finds love, family and success in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club.
Steven Antin will direct the movie.
Antin also wrote the screenplay, which was later revised by Diablo Cody.
Although Aguilera has never actually appeared on the big screen in an acting role, she did lend her voice to the 2004 animated film "Shark Tale."
She also appeared in the 2008 Rolling Stones documentary "Shine A Light."
