The recent loss of the King of Pop shocked many people. As fans mourn his death, Radio One Philadelphia will honor the life and legacy of Michael Jackson Wednesday, July 1.
“Michael Jackson is the epitome of a universal superstar. His music is timeless,” said Radio One Operations Manager, Elory Smith. “This Wednesday we’ll celebrate Michael Jackson’s life.”
Two Philadephia radio stations, 100.3 The Beat and 107.9 WRNB, will broadcast live from the Sound of Philadelphia Souvenir Shop (309A South Broad Street) from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the largest sympathy card signing in honor of Jackson.
For all of you MJ fans, this card signing is your chance to thank him for his contribution to the music industry.
Radio One Philadelphia will send the sympathy cards directly to the Jackson family on behalf of his fans.
