During Brooke’s paso doble, the sexy mother of four, whose fiance, David Charvet, cheered her on from the crowd, enchanted the judges as she glided across the floor with partner, professional Derek Hough.
“I was truly mesmerized,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said following their number. “I could not take my eyes off you.”
And judge Bruno Tonioli was also impressed.
“There were moments in this dance of breathtaking artistry,” he said. “You were born to dance.”
But was she born to win? Maybe not thanks to Warren’s Monday performance.
The former football player, who also danced the paso doble with his own partner, Aussie Kym Johnson, tackled the dance like he did professional quarterbacks, with the intense skill.
“You looked good,” judge Len Goodman said. “I thought it had a dark, menacing feel to it. It was a very, very intense and excellent paso doble. Well done.”
“The paso has gone ‘Matrix!’” Bruno raved. “It was like a Lamborghini on the freeway… For a guy of your size – the way you move, your feet is fabulous!”
Monday was also a good night of competition for Toni Braxton. Taking on the rumba with partner Alec Mazo, she netted a 23 out of 30.
“Well, I said I’m hoping for surprises and that’s exactly what I got,” Len said of their dance. “I was surprised with how good that performance was. You had great chemistry together.”
And while they didn’t make the top three, former *NSYNC star Lance Bass, and his partner, professional Lacey Schwimmer, made a splash with a mouth to mouth kiss at the end of their paso.
The couple, who danced to Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” ended their dance with a lip lock, which failed to impress Len
“I know your game and I know your brain — throw in some stuff to keep the old man happy and then a bunch of twists and turn,” Len stated. “It doesn’t work old sausage.”
