Arrest Made in Beating Death of “Real Housewives” Fiance

Suspect is being hospitalized and will be jailed upon release.

A man has been arrested in connection to the beating death of Ashley Jewell, the ex-fiance of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss.

Frederick Richardson has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in the beating death of Jewell, 34, who died of head injuries he suffered in a fight outside the Atlanta jiggle joint he partially owned, cops told the Atlanta Journal Constitution

Richardson was also injured in the fight and is still hospitalized though cops told the paper he is conscious and alert.

News of Jewell's death stunned "Housewives" star Kandi Burruss, who told Essence magazine last month that she and Jewell -- known as A.J. -- had taken some time off from their relationship.

"im just in one of those moods where I dont wanna tallk, i dont wanna be held & told its gonna be ok. I just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone," she wrote on her Twitter page on Saturday.
