Edward Norton Engaged, At Least According to Courtney Love

He's just passed the 40 mark, and it looks like Edward Norton is finally ready to settle down. At least, he is according to ex-girlfriend Courtney Love.

In an interview with the New York Post, Love congratulated the 41 year-old Norton on his engagement to producer Shauna Robertson, his girlfriend of six years.

"It's about time," says Love. "He's 41, they've been together for six years. He needs to have babies. I wonder what kind of ring he got her? He bought me a ruby."

Unfortunately, no one from the Norton camp has confirmed the news.

Norton, who dated Love in the late 90s (he, according to Love, actually acted as an intermediary between the troubled singer and her daughter, Frances Bean, when the two were barred from communicating for a time), is currently prepping for a role in Wes Anderson's next film, "Moon Rise Kingdom."

He is alleged to  have proposed to Robertson while traveling in India.

Robertson works frequently with comedy mogul Judd Apatow, having produced the massive hits "Knocked Up," "Superbad," and "Pineapple Express."
