    Erin Coleman is an anchor and reporter for NBC10. You can watch her live reports weekdays during the 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts.

    A Philadelphia native, Erin joined NBC10 in October of 2016. She is passionate about telling stories and connecting with community.

    "For me, being an anchor is about digging for the truth as well as being an integral part of the communities we serve," said Erin.

    Prior to joining NBC10, Erin worked as an anchor and reporter at various local television stations across the country for the past 14 years. She anchored at WSB in Atlanta where she won both an Emmy® and an Edward R. Murrow Award. Before this, she worked at NBC affiliate station WRAL in Raleigh and at CBS affiliate station WFMY in Greensboro, North Carolina. She began her career in local broadcasting at KAIT-TV, the NBC affiliate station in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Throughout her career, Erin has covered many high profile events including the capture of the Olympic Park Bomber and the Virginia Tech school shootings. She has also interviewed high-profile leaders, including President Barack Obama.

    Born in Philadelphia and raised in Voorhees, New Jersey, Erin received her bachelor’s in English from Brown University, and a Master’s from Columbia University, Graduate School of Journalism.

    Erin has always been active in the communities that she reports in and is looking forward to continuing that in Philadelphia. She is a member of the Junior League of Philadelphia and the National Association of Black Journalists. When Erin is not anchoring the news, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, and playing tennis.
