Philliess GM Rueben Amaro, Jr. has a message for Phillies fans.

On Tuesday’s 10! Show the most beloved GM in baseball (well at least in Philly) came on to discuss the upcoming Richie Ashburn-Harry Kalas benefit dinner.

However, once he was finished talking about the event he had the following message to share with the fans:

“For me it’s all about your support it has been absolutely fantastic. The Phillies organization is thankful that we've gotten the type of support that we've gotten... we’ll try to keep playing great baseball for you.”

    Thanks for the love Rube.

This very positive message to the fans shows that the former Phillies bat boy and player wants to make sure that the fans knew they are appreciated. He made a point of talking directly to the camera, as if he were speaking to each fan individually.

To date this has been an exciting season for the Phillies. Only time will tell if the off-season moves will land the Phightins another World Series ring.

The Richie Ashburn-Harry Kalas benefit dinner is on Monday May 2 at Morton’s Steak House in Philadelphia. The dinner provides fans a chance to share a table with one of their favorite current or alumni Phillies including guys like Roy Halladay, Carlos Ruiz, Charlie Manuel, Roy Oswalt and Cliff Lee.

On top of that, there will be several silent auctions with some great memorabilia up for grabs. Click here get tickets.
