Still Shivering!

An extra blanket was needed overnight. Long johns didn't hurt either. Anything to keep warm.

We hit a low of 6 degrees in Philadelphia. The coldest its been since 2004. And Mt. Pocono hit a frigid -13.

The good news is that the winds will be light today, so the wind chills will not be too much of a factor.

And it will be "warmer" than it was on Friday. At 353 p.m. Friday, our official high of 18 degrees was recorded.

But with or without a wind chill, it is still cold.

Saturday we will bump it up into the low 20's. Still 15-or-so degrees below normal.

High pressure will be in charge early Saturday.  This will reinforce the cold air but also give us sunshine.

Later Saturday the high will slide to the east and allow a clipper to approach from the west.

The fast moving system will first spread clouds into the region. Eventually giving us cloudy skies Saturday night.

The clipper will move to the north and may clip the Poconos and Lehigh Valley with light snow.

Bundle up if you have Saturday evening plans.  Temperatures will dip to 20 in Philadelphia and into the teens north & west.
