Game 3 of the 2009 World Series between the Phils and the Yanks got off to a late and wet start.

Originally set to start at 7:57 p.m, the game didn't actually get going until 9:15 p.m.

The Phillies tarped the field shortly after 7 p.m. when the rain became more than a pre-game nuisance.

MLB officials interviewed on Fox-TV assured viewers the game would get underway and would get finished Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
