Philadelphia's regional transit agency suspended service on the busy Norristown High Speed Line due to equipment blocking the tracks.
A SEPTA spokeswoman said crews worked to resume service on the suburban commuter line and got it back online by 8 a.m. Tuesday.
She said an incident Monday night left one of the trains stranded, preventing other trains from passing through.
The High Speed Line, a cross between a light rail and commuter rail, runs 13 miles between Upper Darby and Norristown.
