SEPTA Train Strikes, Kills Woman in Bucks County

A Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority train struck and killed a woman in suburban Philadelphia.

It happened after 7 p.m. Thursday near Levittown station in Tullytown.

A SEPTA spokesman said a southbound train traveling from Trenton, New Jersey, to a west Philadelphia train yard hit the woman. It's unclear why the woman was on the tracks.

The train was only carrying SEPTA employees.

Authorities didn't immediately identify the victim.
