Car Spins Out Along Route 1, Slows Traffic

A car spun out along one of Philadelphia’s busiest highways getting Monday morning’s commute off to a slow start for some commuters.

The car spun out and hit another vehicle as rain fell along the Roosevelt Boulevard (U.S. Route 1) southbound near Henry Avenue in Philadelphia’s East Falls neighborhood just before 5:30 a.m.

Police reported no serious injuries.

The wreck left all lanes briefly closed before crews reopened the far left lane lane.

Crews cleared the wreck around 6 a.m.
