Police Van Rear Ends School Bus Causing Major Delays on I-676

A multi-car collision caused major delays on the Vine Street Expressway Westbound and on I-95 South approaching the Vine this morning.

The accident, which has been cleared, happened just before 7 a.m. today when a school bus rear ended a small car causing a police transport van to hit the bus.

No students were on the bus, but 10 passengers in the police van were taken to the hospital as a precaution as well two Philadelphia police officers who complained of pains and possible contusions.
