SEPTA announced Friday it hit record ridership numbers in fiscal 2015.
The transit agency, in its 16th consecutive year operating with a balanced budget, announced its Regional Rail ridership hit 37.4 million trips for fiscal 2015, an increase of more than 2 percent over fiscal 2014.
Across all modes of transportation, there were 330 million trips this year, about the same as it was last year, the company said, the fifth-highest total within the last 25 years.
