NE Extension Reopens SB Between Lansdale and Mid-County Tolls

The Southbound lanes of the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike reopened around 4 p.m. after being shut for seven hours due to a tractor-trailer accident.

The fiery accident happened just before 9 a.m. in Whitpain Township near the Mid-County tolls plaza.
