A day after crews fixed a broken sewer line and limited residents' water usage, crews once again dealt with a broken sewer line in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

A line broke around 7:30 a.m. Thursday along Elbo Lane between Church Street and Texas Avenue -- just feet from the New Jersey Turnpike, said Mount Laurel Police.

The line was fixed around 5 p.m. but authorities urged drivers to avoid the area until 8 p.m. to give crews time to clean-up, said police.

There was no need to limit sewage usage, said the township. Trucks would haul any sewage during the repair.

This break came a day after a sewer line broke along Hartford Road just south of Route 38 in Mount Laurel – not far from the Funplex and Rowan College at Burlington County, said Mount Laurel Police.

The police department asked residents in the area to reduce water usage through the day before completing repairs late Wednesday.

The state department of environmental protection monitored the clean-up, said the township.
