Jeep Strikes Parked Car, Pole Before Flipping Over Leaving Driver Hurt

A sport utility vehicle flipped over after striking a parked car in Philadelphia’s Cobbs Creek neighborhood early Monday.

It wasn’t immediately clear what caused the driver of the Jeep to lose control along Baltimore Avenue near 57th Street before striking a parked car and utility pole around 4 a.m.

The force of the wreck caused the SUV to land on its roof.

Medics rushed the driver to Presbyterian Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

It took crews about an hour to right the vehicle and clear the scene.
