A bridge near Philadelphia's 30th Street Station is reopening to eastbound traffic Friday afternoon.
The John F. Kennedy Boulevard Bridge over the Schuylkill River has been closed to eastbound traffic since since April 9, 2007.
Work is almost complete on the $18 million project to rebuild the 50-year-old bridge. The Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation says some work remains on aesthetic enhancements and the installation of fencing over railroad tracks.
