Kitchens are the heart of the home and one Lehigh Valley designer is showing off kitchens that are functional and fabulous- - to help raise money for a good cause.

Morris Black Designs is showing eight kitchens in Lehigh Valley homes Saturday, April 25 on the Gallery of Kitchens Tour. The tour is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $15.

The Morris Black Family Cookbook will be sold at the tour. The price of the book is $16.95 and includes wonderful recipes for families to use in the kitchen.

The profits from the tour and cookbook will be used to raise money for Valley Youth House in Allentown, Pa. The organization helps more than 8,000 children and families a year.

Robert Black, the vice president of Morris Black Designs, has been on the board of the Valley Youth House for many years.

"The tour is in honor of the company’s 100th anniversary and is also away for people to have some fun," Robert Black said.

Tickets can be ordered by calling 610-264-2700.
