A Special Twist on Passover Cuisine

It's matzo time.
Not eating bread never tasted so good.
Chef Michael Solomonov of Zahav is putting a modern twist on the Jewish feast of Passover.
Zahav in Society Hill will be serving up a pre-fixed $42 meal from the start of Pesach (March 29) to the end (April 6).
“Passover is a time of celebration and remembrance, and both of those things are best done over a great meal, surrounded by family and friends," said Solomonov. "I hope that our guests will join us and bring their loved ones with them to experience this special meal."
But, diners should be aware that the Passover-themed meal featuring handmade matzo, salads, roasted matzo balls, fritters and of course charoset isn't technically fully kosher for Passover, according to the folks at the restaurant.
Passover is an annual Jewish celebration that remembers the Hebrews flight out of Egypt.
