If your inner foodie is in a funk because you weren't able to make it to the James Beard Awards or the South Beach Wine and Food Festival, tell it to buck up.

It turns out some of the hottest chefs from some of the country's hottest restaurants, along with several big Food Network stars and a certain host of a very popular cooking competition show are going to be assembling right here in Philadelphia on June 17 for The Great Chefs Event.

You can tell your inner charitable contributor to buck up as well -- this high-profile "street fair," which takes place at Marc Vetri's much-lauded restaurant Osteria on North Broad Street -- is a benefit for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which raises money to fight childhood cancer.

Over 20 world-class chefs have signed up to participate in the event, including "Top Chef" host Tom Colicchio, Food Network stars Bobby Flay and Masaharu Morimoto, plus some local big shots like Jose Garces and, of course, Marc Vetri.

In addition to the sampling the culinary offerings of these food world talents, there's also a live and silent auction with prizes like a villa in Tuscany and tickets to a Phillies game in Chase Utley's seats.

A $250 donation gets you into the event.
