That Was Fast!

Chef emerges from retirement before he even got there

It’s only been a little over a month since former Fork chef Thien Ngo handed the reins over to Terence Feury to retire in his home country of Vietnam. But in less time than it would take to order a bowl of pho, the chef is back on the scene. Man, that was quick!

The restless chef plans to set up camp at Coquette in Queen Village and give the currently French restaurant’s menu a Vietnamese and Thai touch-up. He will also be unveiling some lower-priced bar snacks for grazers.

While we don’t quite understand his choice of Queen Village over white sandy beaches, of cheesesteaks and roast pork over all that deliciously spicy and vibrant Vietnamese food (OK, that one’s a draw), we’re sure happy that he’s staying in Philly… at least for now.
